Chili Leisure Triathlon is a Gym & Triathlon Coaching facility run by Sean Baker and Karen Parnell. Your training will be monitored by British Triathlon Federation & IRONMAN Coaches, ASA Swimming coaches, EREPs Personal Trainers, Fitness instructors and qualified physiotherapists.
Chili Tri offer Scheduled Triathlon, IRONMAN & Fitness training camps as well as Bespoke Training Camps which are limited to 1 or 2 athletes.
The training is centred around the Chili Tri accommodation in the foothills of the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama Natural Park and only 18km away from the coast and approximately 60 km east of Málaga.
The accommodation can sleep a maximum of 4 people and is ideal for small group or a mixed group of training and non-training. The coach:athlete ratio ensures maximum attention to detail and offers you excellent opportunities for improvement. You can base yourself in the Boutique B&B for your own training camp or you can be part of Chili Leisure Triathlon’s Bespoke Triathlon training camps. They also offer personal training, sports massage, kinesiology taping and bespoke training plans as well as nutrition advice for weight reduction and for triathletes/athletes.
Alternatively, you could stay at the Chili base and join in the weekly fitness classes, such as HIIT, Static Cycling, Circuit Training, TRX and Aquacise.

The accommodation is based at Chili Leisure Triathlon Camp's own residence in Competa, Andalusia southern Spain
Chili Apartment Room: A self-catering or B&B room can be configured as a twin room or Super King-size room. The apartment room benefits from a fully fitted kitchen and an en-suite shower room. The fridge is stocked with some essentials and will be re-stocked as and when necessary. These items are not included in the price.
The Gallery Room: This room has a terrace with stunning panoramic views and is available on a Bed and Breakfast basis. There is an en-suite shower room and a stocked fridge, which like the Chili Apartment will be replenished as and when, and any items used will be added to your final bill.
All the rooms have fridge and tea/coffee facilities. There is sufficient space in each room for hanging your clothing, and all include comfortable seating areas.
There are flat screen TVs showing local TV stations in all bedrooms with remote control and free Wi-Fi.
Packed Lunches and Nutrition: Packed lunches can be made to order. Isotonic drinks, energy bars and protein shakes can be arranged during or after your activities.
Evening Dining: As well as cooking in the fully fitted kitchens you may decide to eat at one of the many restaurants in Competa and surrounding villages. Chili Leisure also offer the possibility for you to hire a hot stone and Raclette Grill with a selection of meats, sauces, vegetables and salad.
Swimming:There is an on-site Endless Pool which is used for swim coaching and video analysis sessions.
Open Water Swimming: These swim sessions are based off the Col del Sol coast in a safe and warm environment.
Cycling: The cycling has in this area offers great variety. Routes can include the mountains of the surrounding National Park or you could head towards the Costa del Sol coast to ride flatter, faster roads. Routes will depend on the training intensity required and targeted skill sets.
Rides will be guided or, if you wish, Chili Leisure will provide you with mapped routes so you ride on your own.
Bike Storage: Within the property grounds which is secure and has lighting.
Running: Running can be either at the local 400m track or for more challenging off-road routes there are specific trail routes and beach routes all within a few kilometres.
All sessions include transport and can be guided or non-guided if preferred. For those who wish to hit the trails on their own, mapped routes are available

Sean Baker: Sean is a L1 British Triathlon Federation coach and an ITU Race official.
Leo Wouters: he was the Belgium team physio leading up and including the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. He lectures across the globe.
Mary-Rose Cross: has raced for Team GB and is an accomplished IRONMAN competitor, having raced Kona three times. She is also a qualified MTB guide and Kayak coach.
Jess Petersson: former professional IRONMAN triathlete and Olympian Jess now adds her in-depth experience to the team.
The Chili Tri Bespoke Triathlon Camps are limited to one to two athletes and are written around your exact race and training goals.

Whether you want to get some late season running and biking done in a warmer climate, surrounded with like-minded individuals and coaches or have some late season races coming up and need to get ready for then this is the camp for you. You will spend time running on the trails, inland loops and beaches as well as technique and speed work sessions.
For the Cycling we have smooth roads which are quiet and safe - its perfect timing for some long steady rides to build some endurance. We will also add in intervals for those that want to and vary the routes, so you get to see lots of the inland – that includes coastal rides and mountains!
For swimming we use the onsite Endless Pool for swim technique and skills sessions along with a local 25m indoor pool and the sea for endurance and race practice. We also offer open water swimming in the Sea or Lake.
This camp is based from Chili Tri, Cómpeta on the Costa del Sol. You will be staying on-site in one of your athlete rooms. Chili Tri offers an on-site Endless outdoor pool, fully equipped gym, secure bike storage and massage therapies.
Camp Breakdown:
Bike: All athletes are assessed on Day 1 to establish riding strengths and skills and grouped accordingly. Rides are varied by terrain and distance, rolling flats and mountain rides from 50km to 120km.
Run: Brick runs, drills and technique work, and tempo runs are guided by our coaches. These sessions can be either road or off road and are suitable for all athletes. We also use Stryd run power metres to assess run power, efficiency, cadence and more.
Swim: The week includes a one to one swim video analysis with feedback so that you can work on your technique during the coached pool and open water swim sessions.
Strength and Core: Most days include an S&C or Core activation class or session and of course a good old stretch and foam roller.
Coaching: Fully coached sessions from a Level 3 British Triathlon Federation Coach based on a training plan based on your exact needs.
