On Site accommodation consists of chalets housing 4 or 5 athletes which are located on the lake's shore. Each chalet has its own small fridge to keep milk, drinks, and other provisions. In total there is accommodation for up to 220 people on site.
There is an on site restaurant, La Table du Lac, a few metres from the accommodation and you can choose between full and half board. The staff recognise the needs of training athletes so prepare meals accordingly. If you need extra provisions there are supermarkets about 10-12km from the lake.
The lake is 2,200metres long and in it is set a 2,000 metre international standard course. Most of the time it has 2 lanes, but this is extended so it has 6 lanes with 500 metre markers during competition period, April to June.
There is a 7km road around the lake which can be used to follow the boats but is not recommended for coaching. Launches can be hired; they are good quality and their wash disperses quickly.
Boat racking is available & there may be an opportunity to hire boats.
Teams who have used this venue;
French National Team, Marlow RC, Shrewsbury School, Wallingford RC
