Velo Veneto, based in Castelcucco, Northern Italy, offer Performance Oriented Italian Cycling Vacations. Castelcucco is conveniently placed in the Veneto region along with other famous towns and cities such as Venice, Treviso, Padua and Verona.
Non cycling partners can join a Velo Veneto supplied guide on local excursions or longer day trips. Some of these may incur additional charges so please check when booking.
If you are wanting to enter a race, Velo Veneto is a registered Italian team and as such, will issue you with a race license. A USA Cycling or UCI license is not accepted. You will need to wear a Velo Veneto cycling team jersey during the racing.
Velo Veneto also offer entries to numerous Sportives. At a slightly slower pace, they run tours allowing you the chance to take the cycling at a slower pace but to discover the food and wine of Italy. Clubs, Corporate and Coaches who'd like to use Velo Veneto and their facilities are also welcomed.
If you wish to extend your holiday without your bike, Velo Veneto will store your bike in their secure lock up until you return.
Both carbon and Aluminum frame bikes are available for hire.
For major repairs, there are local bike shops nearby.

Velo Veneto offer airport transfers.
The accommodation is based at the family run hotel, Hotel Monte Grappa in Castelcucco. Meals will be served in the hotel restaurant, there are TVs in each room and a communal TV lounge, secure bike storage for your bikes and tools, a small weights room and an on-site laundry.
The area offers a diverse terrain which easily covers all your training needs. Monte Grappa, a 1,772 metre, 26km climb with 26 switchbacks is only 13km from the camp's base and other climbs ranging from 3km to 30km are within a short cycle ride. To the south, the roads of the Padovana Plains are flat making it ideal for fast training.
The Dolomites are only a few hours drive from the accommodation and a normal training week will have at least two days in this region.

TRAINING WEEKS
The Veneto is the most popular region for all types of cycling. The Monte Grappa, with its 26 km climb, is only minutes from the hotel, and many climbs ranging from 3km to 30km long are within a short ride. You will ride in the Dolomites and the famous climbs of the Giro d’Italia. Cycling alongside the mountain range enables you to ride more than 100 km of rolling hills. For flat terrain, you can go for hours on the Padovana plains.

MARATONA dles DOLOMITES CAMP
The Giro d’Italia regularly returns to the dramtic Dolomites for the challenge its steep and twisting roads provide and for the scenery that leaves viewers everywhere wishing they were in Italy! For 31 years, the Maratona dles Dolomites (Maratona Dolomiti) has taken tens of thousands of riders over some of the most beautiful and iconic passes in the Dolomites, including the Pordoi, Sella, Giau, and Valparola.
