Set in a lake, this 2,000 metre, 8 lane course has been home to many world rowing and canoeing events. This venue has hosted both World cup and World Championship events.
Offers on site accommodation and fully staffed restaurant. This makes it a very contained environment and so particularly suitable for camps for junior athletes.
This training venue is used by the New Zealand & French national rowing teams, the Belgian canoeing team and many Dutch clubs or universities.
Mechelen is only a short distance away and offers many cafes and restaurants. Although there are 2 main airports near-by, why not try the Euro Star train? Or driving from London would be just as quick.
The area is a popular recreational area, with the cycle paths through the trees especially well used; these paths also provide an ideal running track.
By Air: Brussels airport 16 km - Antwerp airport 22 km

The accommodation is spread over several blocks, set close to the finish tower, totalling 128 beds. The beds are usually bunk beds and some rooms hold up to 4 people. To the rear of the accommodation tracks lead into the forests. In the centre of the blocks, is a paved area with wooden benches/seats
The dining hall is above and to one end of the administration building. The food is served at the kitchen counter and of a reasonable standard. There is always a good variety of salads and fruit.
Athletes who stay on site can be either full or half board. If they stay elsewhere, they can still choose the option of taking meals at the centre.
