Cycling Gran Canaria has remained a firm favourite in our road cycling schedule for the past four years. With a growing reputation for incredible weather, challenging climbs and breath-taking scenery, Gran Canaria is the perfect destination for winter cycling training and tours, during the winter months.

This 7-night, 6-stage multi-centre winter road cycling Gran Canaria tour allows you to embrace the fantastic scenery that only cycling on Gran Canaria can offer at this time of the year, including Pico las Nievas, the high point of the island at just under 2000 meters, and the Valley of the Tears where you’ll face a real challenge on the Islands signature road cycling climb. However, the island has so much more to offer than these two big name climbs, including stunning ravines, valleys and coastal roads that offer unsurpassed views of the coastline. You’ll be sure to have a few new favourite climbs by the end of your exciting cycling Gran Canaria holiday week.

The cycling Gran Canaria holiday is a challenging week of riding but as always, we consider that you might want a lighter option depending on where you are with your training. On several days of the cycling Gran Canaria challenge, there are choices for an intense or lighter ride, so you can decide based on your personal goals. As with all our holidays, you will have a support vehicle, high-quality guides and coaches riding with you every day. There’s always flexibility, so you can choose how relaxing or intense you want your holiday to be.

After each day of riding, you’ll get to retire to an incredibly comfortable 4* hotel. We have hand-picked three amazing hotels, each of which is located in a quiet area around the island, not least including Puerto de Mogan, Agaete and Cruz de Tejeda. Each hotel boasts stunning surroundings, providing you the opportunity to truly get a feel for the varied terrain and training opportunities that cycling Gran Canaria can offer in the winter months. Whether you want to enjoy the winter sun, luxury amenities or rest up for another ride, our hotels are perfect.

Typically, daytime temperatures reach the high teens to the mid twenties during winter months, so you can comfortably wear your full summer kit throughout the week.
