Summary Jo first bought a bike in 2003 having been challenged to enter the London Sprint Triathlon. 2007 saw her on the start line of her first Ironman Lanzarote and she raced again that year in the Ironman Hawaii. A career changing moment in 2009 gave Jo the opportunity to become a professional sports woman. Jo has finished on the podium in 7 Ironman events, 5 of which have been as winner. Coaching She has now put her racing knowledge into her coaching work. Jo is a British Qualified Triathlon coach level 1. Jo runs EverydayTraining with Steven Lord, coaches joint ventures like the Epic Woman Camps with Tara Norton and organises/runs coaching weeks here and abroad.

Summary Joe Beer has been competing in multipart events for more than 25 years, covering all distances from sprint to Ironman – Including the legendary Hawaii Ironman. He has been coaching and writing in multisport magazines for almost two decades. His book “Need To Know Triathlon” was Published in January 2008. He was voted the inaugural 220 Magazine Coach of The Year in 2004 and is a qualified BTA Coach. Joe has been coaching on camps at Club La Santa for over 10 years
