With its 2000m+ mountains and empty rural roads, Cyprus seemed like an ideal place for a road cycling holiday but preferring not to risk my bike being lost or damaged, I wanted to rent. Despite only finding one specialist road bike rental company, I was relieved when two good quality bikes arrived the night before, professionally setup and ready to ride. Cyprus has beautiful, challenging but achievable mountain roads, quiet Taverna's bemused by our cycling but with coffee, snacks and even a complimentary slice of cake at one, they couldn't have been more accomodating. We had one problem with a tyre but it was swapped efficently and without questioning. Tony couldn't be more helpful and I'll be encouraging friends to try Cyprus for mountain climbing while the roads are still empty! PS. Their shop is in the basement of Aliathlon in case you miss it as I first did.

Really liked dealing with these guys. I arranged to hire a Canyon road bike while I was in Paphos with the family. I asked if I could have the bike on a Monday and a Wednesday. They delivered the bike on the Sunday and left it with me until I’d finished with it after my second ride. They helped fit my pedals and provided all necessary accessories eg spare tubes etc. The bike was in good condition and the routes suggested were pretty good. NB if you climb into the mountains and loop back near Nata some of the descents are a bit sketchy etc and at one point the road had washed away in the heavy rain so it was cyclocross time but only for 100 yards. Definitely a recommendation from me.

Tony and the team were helpful from start to finish. We normally ride hybrid bikes back in the UK so trying road bikes was a new experience for my husband and I. However, there was no pressure to rent, and I can honestly say that once we got used to the bikes we didn’t look back and had a fabulous few days cycling. Tony provides a very professional service, and we would have no hesitation in recommending Aspire Cycling to anyone who wants quality bikes to explore this area. (Look for Aliathon Holiday Village where you will find Aspire Cycling down a flight of stairs in front of Häagen-Dazs).

Great team and fantastic service. Tony recommended multiple routes which turned out to be some of the best cycling we’ve done to date. Bikes are in good shape and run smooth. Delivery/pickup was seamless. Would highly recommend.

I wanted to ride some miles on the roads of Paphos during my holiday on proper road bikes. So I rented a Canyon Ultimate for me and a Canyon Endurance for my girlfriend. The delivery as well as the pick up in the end was very friendly and punctual. Both bikes were in perfect condition and the roads were in a very good condition too and the scenery was awesome. I would always rent bikes at Aspire Cycling again.
