What others have said

"We all enjoyed our weekend in the Highlands and it really is a great set-up that you have for running holidays in a great place...... I've been on plenty training camps but this was a first for a running holiday and an experience I enjoyed and would recommend to others. I never really thought about running all weekend, just got up and got carried along through the Highlands, the surroundings were just so perfect that you wanted to blend in and not disturb the peace." Sonia O'Sullivan, World Champion and Olypmic 5000m Silver Medallist (and special guest speaker at our training weekend September 2008!)

"We found the whole experience fantastic. The setting is ideal. Neil Stewart and his lovely wife, Emma, were very welcoming, well organised......It was truly a wonderful experience and we will return." Gerard Hartmann, Physical Therapist to 53 Olympic athletes including Paula Radcliffe and Dame Kelly Holmes (and special guest speaker at our November 2007 weekend!)

Comments:  My already high expectations were exceeded, this was simply superb! It's the combination of running, new trails, challenging trajectories, meeting new people, taking in the scenery and enjoying nice evenings with a couple of drinks that makes it so special. In addition to the above we had incredible weather. Neil Stewart gives his best to make runners comfortable and feel well taken care of. Neil does not market his company to the full extent so anyone going on this trip get's the advantage of being an early adopter. The running coaches are passionate about their work, they really pay attention to the needs of their runners. We were told that we were the best group ever but if you go to the Facebook site, it seems that these superlatives are used on many of the tours. We went as a team of 4 runners and it was a great bonding experience, it's also fine to go as a single runner. The Glen Lui hotel was perfect choice for this event You do need to be a good runner to fully benefit from the experience. On day 2, we ran and walked 33 km and climbed 1250 metres, it took 5-6 hours. We were exhilarated and quite tired at the end of that day. For this trip, Aberdeen was best airport. Arrival from Amsterdam was perfect. Really want to get back soonest and try another route! By the way, the rumours about bad weather in Scotland is to manage the number of tourists. Go Scotland!

Comments:  This without question was the best five days running experience of my life - superbly organised from start to finish with excellent guides and back up support. Trail running certainly at its finest and the routes and runs offered were simply outstanding showing Scotland's natural beauty at its finest. The 4th day in particular through Glen Affric will stay long in the memory. A test certainly but the ethos is about enjoying the five days and can recommend very highly. We had a great bunch of people and this made for a very memorable running holiday - top marks

Comments:  I’ve known about the Run Across Scotland for a number of years and often talked about doing it. This year, I decided to go for it and I’m so glad I did. It was everything I’d hoped it would be – and more! I spent a fantastic 5 days running from coast to coast and loved the experience. Each day, the scenery got better. Neil’s route was superb. Our guides, Clare and Jon, were really knowledgeable about the areas we were running through and the food at both hotels was great.
