Summary

Introduction

 

Agenda Sports and Elements have been offering sports groups training camp opportunites since 1993. Their packages include accommodation, access to sports facilities, transport, personal assistance, physio and medical services. Agenda Sports and Elements will also arrange leisure and other activites if you require some relaxing periods between hard training sessions.

Their client base has continually increased with teams such as Cambridge University Boat Club, the New Zealand Triathlon National Team, the Russian Kayak/Canoe Federation, the Australian Swimming Team, CSKA Moscow Water Polo and the GB Adaptive Rowing Paralympic Team all rebooking their camps with Adenda Sports and Elements.

Agenda are based in Banyoles, home of the Barcelona 1992 Olympic Games Rowing and Canoeing events and many International Triathlon Union International events.

In addition to their orgainsation of your training camps, Agenda Sports and Elements also offer Team Building activities to sports groups, businesses and consulting firms who wish to produce their own tailor-made programs.

Agenda also offer more low-key rowing holidays, aimed at Masters rowers, recreational rowers and holidaymakers who would like to add a little exercise on the water into the mix.

Cycling

Cycling

 

General; Banyoles is only a few kilometres away from Girona, possibly the cycling capital of Europe and home for many of today's top professional bike racers. The region has also hosted races such as the Vuelta a España or Volta a Catalunya stages, and ITU events.

Banyoles; airports Barcelona 133km, Girona 32km, Perpignan 103km

Facilities; The region lends itself to a range of famous routes including the Rocacorba, Mare de Déu del Mont, Volcanic land circle and the  Vallter 2000.

Football

Lloret de Mar

 

General Lloret de Mar is one of the most famous towns in the Costa Brava area.

Facilities F11 Pitch, 100x62 mts, natural grass. Other pitches are available, all of which are astro-turf.

Accommodation The 4* Olympic Park Resort is 5' walk from the pitches, being located near to the town centre & beach. Buffet meals and 3 swimming pools, fitness centre and Spa.


Santa Susanna

 

General The town was awarded Sports Tourism Destination in Football. These facilities offer first class training surfaces. Barcelona airport is 55km and Girona 30km away

Facilities 2 Prestige XM 60 Evolution playing surfaces which meet with FIFA's maximum qualifications.

Accommodation The 4* Aquamarina & Spa Hotel is within 1' walk of the pitches & 150mts from the beach. Buffet meals, 2 swimming pools, cinema and meeting rooms.


Tordera

 

General This is a High Performance Football Centre with airports Barcelona 197km, Zaragoza 144km & Lleida 61km away.

Facilities 14, F11 pitches and 3 F7 pitches, all natural grass & varying dimensions. Incls 2 pools, meeting & rest rooms.

Accommodation There is the option of staying at the football centre with bunk beds, TV room and dining hall or hotels which are 15-20' coach drive away.


Salou

 

General A new complex specifically designed for football with accommodation on-site. Airports: Barcelona 103km & Reus 9km, whilst AVE (high speed train station) 20km.

Facilities 4 grass pitches, 2 artificial pitches & changing rooms. All FIFA approved 110 x 64 - 75mts. Pitches can be converted to F7. Centre also includes video, meeting & rest rooms.

Accommodation Cambrills Park is 5' walk from the football complex providing 170 apartments and 330 bungalows. Includes restaurants, bars and 4 themed pools.


Empuriabrava

 

General 150km north of Barcelona, sitting on the Mediterranean Sea amongst one of the largest marinas in the world. Airports; Barcelona 166km, Girona 64km, Perpignan 76km.

Facilities 3 F11 pitches (1 @ 105 x 67 & 2 @ 100 x 65) and 1 F7 pitch; all natural grass pitches, warm up areas & changing rooms.

Accommodation The 3* Castellblanch Hotel is set in the walls of the Costa Brava castle. It is 2' walk from the pitches & close to the beach. Outdoor pool, buffet meals, games room &TV lounge.


Kayaking

Banyoles

 

General; home of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games Rowing and Canoeing, this lake has been a training venue for many International Kayaking & Canoeing Federations. Airports; Barcelona 133km & Girona 32km.

Facilities; the lake offers a 2,000metre, fully buoyed course. Boats and launches are available for hire. There is a weights room for land training and use of the sports club's facilities can be arranged.

Accommodation; a range of accommodation styles & types are within 1' to 15' walk of the boating area.

 


Sevilla

 

General; home of the National High Performance Centre for Rowing and Canoeing. The 2,000 metre course has hosted many International Championships and La Cartuia has received many National teams, clubs, schools and universities. Airports; Sevilla: 12km, Málaga: 219km.

Facilities; the 2,000 metre, fully bouyed course is part of a still water 7km canal, spcifically built for Expo 1992. Boats and launches can be hired.

Accommodation; The Sports Residence is within 50 metres of the boating area. Seville also offers many hotels of various ratings which may be ideal if you were wanting to mix rowing and local culture.


Mequinensa

 

General; this training venue has been used by clubs and universities from across Europe, including Oxford University. Airports; Barcelona 197km, Zaragoza 144km, Lleida 61km.

Facilities; based around a 2,000 metre reservoir, the last 1,000 metres being buoyed. The training water extends a further 6km along a river. Launches are available for hire and there is a gym on-site.

Accommodation; the family run 2* hotel is within 2' walk of the boating area and serves sports menus aimed at hard training athletes.


Amposta

 

General; your camp will be based at the Olympic Rowing Centre which provides excellent facilities for both dryland and on-water training. Amposta was awarded Sporting Tourist Destination in 2012. Airports; Reus 80km, Barcelona 180km, Valencia 180km.

Facilities; there is 36km of river suitable for long distance training. Launches can be hired and there is an on-site, fully fitted gym.

Accommodation; within 10'walk of the boat house providing all necessary facilities for high-performing athletes.


Castelldefels

 

General; built specifically for canoeing preparations for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games and set in 48 hectares of landscape and attractions. Airports; Girona 111km, Barcelona 9km, Perpignan 217km

Facilities; 1,207metres canal course which is 132metres wide. Coaching launches can be hire but there is also a cycling path along side the course. There is an on-site gym

Accommodation; the 3* and 4* hotels are with 5' to 15' walk from the boating area. The hotels offer swimming pools, sports menues served buffet style.


La Seu d'Urgell

 

General; the Segre Olympic Park was one of the secondary Olympic venues & was awarded Sporting Tourist Destination status in 2006. It has hosted many of the top whitewater competitions, including The ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships. Airports; Girona 198km, Barcelona 180km, Perpignan 150km

Facilities; the length is with a drop of 6,5m. & flow of 12 m3/s. The Course features a concrete bottom, banks and natural boulder obstacles.

Accommodation; within 5' walk and is a family run lodge with a relaxing and charming atmosphere.


Sort

 

General; the L’Aigüerola Slalom Course, built in 1993 and graded as Class III, runs through the town's centre. The ICF Wildwater Canoeing World Championship was held here in 2010. Airports; Girona 231km, Barcelona 226km, Perpignan 204km, Alguaire – Lleida 126km

Facilities; Put in area 65m - White water section 375m - 2 “holes” for free style - Arrival and take out area 60m - Av gradient on special section 6.64 per thousand - Av gradient 8 per thousand - Riverbed:from 20 to 35m - Av riverbed from 10 to 12m - 25 permanent slalom gates

Accommodation; the fully equipped sports hostel is within 100metres of the course


Rowing

Banyoles

Rowing Holidays

 

If a full-on camp isn't for you, but you would like some rowing mixed in with a holiday in sunny Spain, Agenda organise rowing holidays in Barcelona (coastal rowing), Seville and Banyoles, near Girona.  On these trips you mix time on the water with cultural visits, great food and other pastimes such as horse riding, sunbathing and cycling.


Dragon Boats

Dragon Boats

 

Dragon Boat: is a type of canoeing in the boats in Chinese style with a millennium history. It's the type of water sports that grows the most in the world in terms of participants and clubs. The capacity of each boat is of 11 persons, including the drummer who is creating the rhythm for the group with the tambour. The activity is accessible for everybody, no need of previous experience.

Festivals: Agenda Sports & Elements are proud to have years of experience in organizing important events of Dragon Boat, such as the Festival in Banyoles (since 2012), which counts with 500-600 participants annually.

Agenda Sports & Elements also organize May Dragon Boat Festival in Badalona (since 2017) and Hong Kong Barcelona International Dragon Boat Festival (2018). 

Duration and dynamics: The activity starts with briefing, initiation and equipment, followed by training sessions for the teams and competition consists of 3-4 regattas of 5 minutes each. It usually takes from 2 to 3 hours, but timings can be adapted upon request.

Swimming

Lloret de Mar

 

General; new Olympic size pool and Lloret's other sports facilities makes this a popular destination for sports training camps. Airports: Barcelona 90km, Girona 36km, Perpignan 137km.

Pool 2; 25m Indoor. Water temp: 27ºC
Gym; Spinning room, fully equipped

Accommodation; the Olympic Park Resort is within 5' walk of the pool, beach and town centre. It has its own 3 pools, fitness centre, buffet restaurant.


Calella

 

General; Close to the beach, this open air pool is one of the best in Europe. The local micro climate allows the pool to be "outside" all year. Airports: Barcelona 70km, Girona 40km, Perpignan 148km.

Facilities; Pool; 50m x 25m, 10 lanes kept at 27º C. Underwater viewing facility and modern changing rooms. Gym; 500sq metres fitness room, cycling room & additional gym.

Accommodation; 3* & 4* hotels are within walking distance of the pool. These are sports friendly hotels, established to cater for the training swimmer.


Mataro

 

General Mataró is located approximately 35km north-east of Barcelona, on the Mediterranean Sea. The pool is set along-side the beach. Airports: Barcelona 197km, Zaragoza 144km, Lleida 61km.

Facilities Pool 1; 50m x 10 lanes outdoor, Pool 2; 25m Indoor. Gym; fully equipped

Accommodation; the sports friendly 3* hotel is 5' walk from the pool, opposite the beach. All the rooms are comfortable and meals are served in the buffet restaurant. 


Girona

 

General; the pool is set in the Geieg sports club, on the edge of Girona but within easy reach of all the city's amenities. Airports: Barcelona 114km, Girona 13km, Perpignan 100km.

Facilities; Pool 1; Olympic size 50metre, 8 lane pool with retractable roof with a water temperature of 28º.
Pool 2: Indoor 25metre
Gym: On-site, plus Spa area.

Accommodation; within 5' walk of the pool complex, adjacent to the tourist attractions & opposite the city centre.


Torremolinos

 

General This multi-purpose training facility is located in one of Spain's most popular destinations, about 7km southwest of Málaga. Airports: Málaga 8km, Granada 125km, Sevilla 220km.

Facilities Pool 1 outdoor 50m x 8 lanes Pool 2 indoor 50m x 8 lanes Pool 3 outdoor 25m x 12.5m diving pool. Water temperature: 27-29ºC

Accommodation; the 3* sports friendly hotel is within a 10'-15' walk of the sports complex & only a few minutes away from the main beach, shops and many city attractions.


Sant Cugat

 

General; the CAR Sant Cugat is a High Performance Sports Centre built specifically for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.  Airports: Barcelona 27km, Girona 85km, Perpignan 191km.

Facilities; Pool 1; Outdoor 50mts x 25mts, 10 lanes of 2.5mts wide for competition and training. Pool 2; Indoor 50mts for Swimming and Water Polo. Pool 3; Indoor 30mts for Synchronized Swimming. Pool 4; Indoor for Diving
