Cycling Camp

Typically, each cycling training camp would cover a range of World Class parameters, giving you every advantage to improve your fitness and skills. You will be coached each day by the lead riders, all led by Mark Colbourne, on every aspect of cycling to give you the knowledge and experience on how to improve your own performances and understand the marginal gain concept.

Areas of improvements include;

Learning Skillstechniques used by elite athletes such as strong hill climbing, aerodynamic cycling and pacing during racing.

NutritionUnderstanding the Science that recommends cyclists eat a diet rich in natural super-foods, as well as maximize their hydration.

PlanningGoal setting and planning your training. Where do you want to get to and how do you get there? You will be taught Mark’s unique “plan, do and review” process.

Trainingaimed to help you train more productively, helping you with both physical and mental gains that will help you in any areas of weakness and increase your performance. You will learn how to find your limits, how to manage your training zones, engage important muscles, knowing when and whether to change your training, planning for training overload blocks and tapering your training before events

Biomechanics - learn how to stabilize the upper body and relax your mind.

Group ridingyou will be helped to overcome fears or worries leaving you to enjoy the adrenaline rush of high-speed cycling.

Daily challenges - the well-organized rides can encounter challenges such as keeping pace with the leaders, managing the temperatures, adequate food and hydration, pacing yourself up hills and removing scar tissue build up.

Typical Dayeach training camp has been designed with exceptional attention to detail, to give you the complete ‘structured experience’ to test your endurance and stamina throughout long coastal rides and testing steep hills.

Progression - the continuity of progression in cycling starts with setting realistic goals for yourself that then leads toward a sequence of improvements.
