Comments:  My recent trip with Velo Veneto and Craig Lewis in the Friuli and Veneto region of Italy far exceeded my expectations. Jason and Craig went out of their way to make our experience first rate. Even though we arrived in Italy before the tour started Jason was there to meet us at the airport and take our extra luggage and bikes so we didn't have to cart them or store them while we visited a couple days in Venice prior to the start of the camp. He escorted us to the water taxi and made sure our transportation was secured before taking off. Once the camp started every thing operated smoothly, professionally and without any stress. I know the logistics of keeping up with a group can be a challenge but the staff made it look easy and seamless. I also rented a bike instead of bringing my own and it was top rate and Jason made sure it was a perfect fit! Craig's knowledge of the Friuli region and locals made us all feel like we were royalty. Each route, meal and experience was truly magical! And while in Veneto Jason and the locals in Bassano made the challenging routes of the region attainable and fun. Every detail was well planned with care but Jason & Craig were just also just as quick to be flexible if the group wanted something different, and they did it graciously. And those attention to details continued right up to the day we left as Jason even helped us with our luggage all the way to the counter. I highly recommend and have told anyone who will listen that the best luxury bike vacations should be entrusted to Jason, Velo Veneto and Craig Lewis! And I look forward to the next adventure.

Comments:  Velo Veneto is #1 of the many training camps and luxury bicycle adventures we have experienced. The staff is highly competent, funny, and kind making our "Training Camp with Craig Lewis in Friuli & Veneto 2014" absolutely perfect. For 9 days we enjoyed challenging rides (Monte Grappa, Julian Alps) followed by 5 star meals & wine, and immersion into the region's culture- all with zero stress. Thanks to Jason's logistic & linguistic skills and Craig's familiarity with Friuli's vineyards, cycling roads and fabulous citizens, we experienced a magical trip that could not have happened without Velo Veneto and Craig Lewis. Each guest finished stronger than we arrived, armed with new confidence. Thank you Jason for your encouragement. Since Velo Veneto has a race license, we were able to race in the Prosecco Gran Fondo, an incredible event. Our over 60 Master's racer finished well, while the rest of us enjoyed soaking up the culture with the fun-loving people of Prosecco at every rest stop. It is rare and wonderful to spend each vacation day focusing on what we truly love: riding low traffic roads in God's beautiful creation, staying in luxurious inns run by helpful staff, and Michelin-starred dining with local wines suggested by Craig Lewis. Velo Veneto seemed to anticipate each need or desire before it arose. For example, Jason overheard that Craig started his cycling career as a 15 year old Junior near Asolo and suddenly we were in Asolo sipping Prosecco. We are training now for Velo Veneto w/ Craig Lewis trips in Friuli and Spain 2015.

Comments:  I´ve been to other cyclings camps in Europe and nothing like the professionalism and convenience of Velo Veneto. The area around Castelcucco is awesome, you can find any kind of terrain near by and also is within a couple of hours of the Dolomites. Besides that, Velo Veneto provides custom service depending upon what you want to do, you want to race? they´ll get you a license, you want to ride around, there are several places, you want to go to Stelvio or Gavia? No problem. Besides all that, I´ve brought my family with me and they did arrange all kind of activities for them while I was cycling so I highly recommend Velo Veneto for your next cycling camp in Europe!
