Neuro Fire Cycling - Inaugural tour

Neuro Fire Cycling, by Cidimu Group kicked off its inaugural tour last month, crisscrossing epic climbs from TDF & Giro.

Neuro Fire Cycling work with the Bahrain Merida Pro Cycling Team

Cyclists on this specialized tour benefited from advanced neurostimulation conditioning used by pro athletes to improve endurance and post training recovery.

Studies have demonstrated that Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation tDCS helps build
athletic endurance whether through neuroplastic changes in efficient movement patterns during training or as a consequence of more effective neuromuscular recruitment.
Participants on the first tour included a New York Times Best Selling Author on the science of
sports endurance as well as other cycling journalists from around the globe.

Accompanied each day by a team of neuropsychologists from IRR Institute, the Official Clinic of the Bahrain Merida Pro Cycling Team, cyclists underwent treatment to charge the brain’s motivational centers before hitting the Cols.

While IRR Institute has worked to develop protocols for professional athletes such as Domenico Pozzovivo & Vittoria Bussi (holder of UCI Women’s 1 Hour Record), this project is the first time that neuro-conditioning has been packaged into a weekly training camp for cyclists of all levels.
