Colconquerors 2016 Improvements

Rob Hawkins, founder and Head Coach of Colconquerors, explains the latest updates that will take your cycling camp & holiday experience to another level.

At the end of the 2015 summer season work began to upgrade the accommodation. Comfort and relaxation were key factors in the work carried out, ensuring that you are fully prepared for the following day’s climb. The bedrooms and beds will significantly enhance your sleep so you get up in the mornings refreshed. There is a new dining room and the living area has seen improvements, making for a more sociable atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy the company of your fellow cyclists.

An additional facility to aid recovery and performance has also been added, which is the Dome. The Dome is where you can stretch on the mats or use the foam rollers to help your recovery program so that you can meet the following day’s challenges. Karen leads Pilates sessions that are specific to your needs throughout the summer and so far it's certainly helped those that have taken up the option to loosen up for the days riding.

Finally, the transfer of your bike and luggage has become easier and more secure with the addition of a new trailer.
