3 coached athletes, 3 races in 3 countries and with 3 podiums

Masters of Tri not only host training camps, they also coach athletes from all over the world.

Over the years, all but a few of the Masters of Tri athletes have attended at least one training camp here in Spain. Those that haven’t visited us in Spain we have met whilst coaching elsewhere – the UK, Sweden or in Germany.

Ellie is one exception, although we have seen her training in her club in the UK (where Martin was Head Coach before moving to Spain). Ellie has been very consistent and committed to her training over the first few months and absorbed the strength that took her through to a PB at the IM70.3 in Barcelona with a 3rd place!

Sue, a coached athlete and previous camp attendee, she has had a lot of disturbed training over the early part of this year due to travel commitments. However, her key area for development – swimming - has drastically improved to the point where it is helping her overall triathlon performance. As a late decision, mainly in support of a friend, Sue raced in Portugal and not only PB’s but won her AG.

Mike is a camp veteran, he has been to several of our training camps (swim and triathlon) and is really starting to capitalise on both the different approach to training as well as the fitness and strength that comes with it. His race season was hindered by a fall from his bike that caused injuries preventing him swimming for a while. However, only 2 weeks later in his first important race he achieved his 2018 objectives in one go: ITU World Championships qualification for the Gold Coast (2018) and Lausanne (2019)!
