Camille Herron Set a 24-Hour Running Record

 

 

8th December 2018: Camille Herron from Oklahoma City broke the 24 hour running record by covering 162.9 miles during the Desert Solstice Invitational in Phoenix. Camille beat second placed Jacob Jackson by more than 5 miles

 

Taylor Nowlin sets Fastest Known Time in the Grand Canyon R2R2R

 

 

21st November 2018: Ultra runner Taylor Nowlin broke the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim-to-rim (R2R2R) previously fastest known time. Taylor completed the south-north-south double crossing in 7 hours, 25 minutes, 58 seconds. The previous record had been set only 5 days earlier by Ida Nilsson from Sweden. Taylor, a newcomer to ultra-running beat Ida’s time by 3 minutes 

 

Eliud Kipchoge Storms the Berlin Marathon and Destroys Marathon World Record

 

 

 

16th September 2018: Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge from Kenyan completed the Berlin Marathon in 2:01:39. Kipchoge took off 78 seconds from the previous world’s best, making this the largest reduction for more than half a century.
