Ben Bright


Ben competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He won the Junior World title and achieved top five at Senior Elite world championships.

He began his coaching career at the Mantas swimming club in Hong Kong. Among his success there were Olympian and Hong Kong age group record breakers. Ben then accepted a triathlon coaching position at Loughborough University.

Ben has coached many of Britain's top medal winning athletes, including Tim Don and Hollie Avil to world titles.

Ben has been an Olympic coach at the 2004, 2008 and 2012 games. He is now the head coach at the British Triathlon High Performance centre in Loughborough.

He has also worked with Ironman Distance athletes at both pro and age group level, with all so far qualifying for and competing at the Hawaii Ironman and setting personal best times over the Ironman distance whilst under his guidance.
