Glen Christiansen

Summary

Glen competed for Sweden in the 1980 Moscow Summer Olympics in the 200mts breaststroke event. Retiring from International swimming, Glen began a successful career as an international swimming coach. Two years later, his swimmers had won several National Championship titles and qualified for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games Games.

Glen has many years experience of coaching away from Sweden. He coached for 5 years in Japan with both Junior Olympic swimmers and World Champion Masters swimmers. He then relocated to coach at the Olympic Training Centre in Hamburg, Germany and within 4 years his swim team won the German National Championships and qualified 4 swimmers for the 1992 Atlanta Olympic Games.

He now spends his time organizing & coaching swimming training camps, delivering seminars and writing books. Glen continues to compete at Masters events and has broken more than 50 World Masters records and won 15 World champion titles.
